December 2010

We have partnered with Deron William’s Point of Hope Foundation and they will provide a wonderful Christmas to those most deserving. We want to express our appreciation to Deron and Amy and their entire team for their generous hearts! They went above and beyond! Go Jazz!

Seven Still Waters donated 126 new childrens books at this event.

Past Events:

October 2010: Mary Schroeer and friends raised $1,200 for Maryn Cella who has terminal cancer to help cover her medical costs. 100% of the money raised went to her medical bills.

October 2010: Sponsored swimming lessons for 50 students at Wasatch Elementary in Clearfield.

September 2010: Provided a hundred children’s books to Wasatch Elementary in Clearfield for positive incentives.

August 2010: Partnered with Read Today and distributed over 200 books and over 30 basketballs, tennis racquets,  baseball bats, soccer balls and other items to children at the festival. - We would like to thank Centerville Wal-Mart for their support.

March 2010: Matched the money Farmington Elementary School children raised and provided $1036 for the quake relief efforts in Haiti.

November 2009: Bought Noella an English learning study program to help her with English. In November 2010 her mother said her grades have improved dramatically because of this support and she will graduate from high school.

Noella is a bright seventeen year old high school student who is originally from the Congo. Her family fled the violence there (where over 6 million people have died due to war), they found safety in a refugee camp in Uganda, her mother and father passed away four years ago. She is the second oldest of 6 children. Noella along with her 5 younger siblings were adopted by a wonderful family from Utah in 2008. She loves cooking, theater, along with music and has a beautiful voice.

April 2008: Provided over a hundred children’s books to Title 1 schools in Utah.
